Here at St. Bonaventure Parish we have a thriving music program that provides great opportunities to participate in the life of the parish.
For the youth of the parish there are two opportunities to participate in the liturgy at Mass.

For children in grades 2 through 8 we have the St. Bonaventure Church Junior Choir. This group sings at the 10am Mass every Sunday from September to June. They also sing at the 4pm Mass on Christmas Eve and join with the adult choir for the Easter Celebration. Easter Sunday Masses are spectacular when the entire music program, young and young at heart, join together.

For youth in grades 9 through 12 we have the St. Bonaventure Church Youth Choir. Due to the demands of teenagers these days, this group participates in the liturgy of the Mass on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month from September to June. They also sing at the 10am Mass during summer months.

Both youth choirs combine with the adult choirs for an annual Christmas concert.
Adults of the Parish are presented with two opportunities to participate in the liturgy at Mass.

The Adult Choir sings at the 4pm Mass on Saturday from September through June. Rehearsals are held Thursday nights 7:30pm to 9:00pm. This group is comprised of dedicated men and women who sing all of the Mass parts and generally in 4 if not 5 part harmony.

The St. Bonaventure Church Chancel Choir sings at the 8am Mass year round. They are a dedicated group of men and women who sing all of the Mass parts in 4 part harmony. These participants are not required to attend the weekly rehearsal on Thursday evening. They join with the Adult Choir for Holy days and special events. The scheduling of this group gives those who might not be able to participate otherwise an opportunity to participate in the music program here at St. Bonaventure Parish.

The Adult Choir and the Chancel Choir combine for the annual Christmas concert in addition to hosting the bi-annual Plymouth area Choir Festival.

At St. Bonaventure Parish we are blessed to have a fantastic guitar ensemble. This group plays along with our music director at the 4pm Mass during the summer and also for additional Masses that take place at the parish center on Christmas and Easter.

Youth and adults are afforded an opportunity to participate in one of the many important ministries in Parish life. The parish community is enhanced by the individuals who give of their time and talent to the music program.

Wedding Music:
All Wedding music here at St. Bonaventure’s is supervised by our music director.   The Wedding couple along with the music director chooses liturgical wedding music. 
The Music Director, Mr. Ricci, has a diverse repertoire and is skilled at both the piano and organ in all styles of music.  Wedding music ranges from Classical to standard church hymns, all of which are liturgically appropriate.  He has years of experience accompanying soloists both vocal and instrumental.
Soloists and other performers are supervised by the music director.
