Religious Education Program. Formal religious education instruction begins in Grade one and goes through Grade 10. We use the Faith First Legacy Edition, Published by Resources for Christian Living. The Faith First scope and sequence is a spiral approach to learning our Catholic faith. the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church - the Creed, Sacraments, Morality, and Prayer are taught and developed on every grade level every year. This ensures that the beliefs of our faith mare introduced to and reinforced for the young people as they grow, develop, and mature in their faith, This is an educationally sound method that means that each catechist will build upon and reinforce what students have learned previously on other grades.

Vacation Bible School Program
This is a fun way to introduce the youngest members to start down the path to the faith. Children ages 4 to 9 will meet from 9:00 AM to 11:30 to play fun games and act out bible stories and enjoy learning about the faith.
Summer Vacation Bible School was a huge success this year! Thanks to all the adult, teen and youth volunteers who made it all possible. The parish center looked like a far away jungle, complete with baboo, dragonflies and panda bears everywhere. The children enjoyed all the activities, crafts, songs, games and themed snacks, but the whale that was able to "eat" them all for bible stories was the talk of the week. Look for an all new program and theme for next summer. Until then, remember God is wild about you! |
