The
Bonnie Seniors
St. Bonaventure Parish has a very active senior citizen
group. The Bonnie Seniors were organized in 1982 by Sister Jeremy
Horgan. The club was created with a purpose to allow people to get together
to encourage a social community atmosphere for those 55+ as well as to offer
an outlet for members to grow spiritually through the ministry of helping
others. Our purpose is Christian ministry to all. If you are fifty
five years of age or older and living within the St. Bonaventure Parish
community and are interested in joining this active group, please contact
Sr. Jeremy at 508-224-3636 ext. 193.
Regularly scheduled meetings are held on the second
Thursday of each month, serving light refreshments, good speakers addressing
topics that are requested or suggested by members, as well as occasional
entertainment.
Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, June 10th in
the Parish Center Hall. Please join us.
